m to become a part of the Virginia Progressive Leadership Project (VAPLP). VAPLP represents an individualized leadership development program to empower experienced activists and community organizers by enhancing their skills, while connecting them to resources that help prepare them for greater leadership roles in their communities. VAPLP is an 8-month leadership development program that couples 4 core training modules with individualized support and training.

VAPLP is a project of Virginia’s progressive community and participants will gain access to top-notch advice and training. The program is led by the Virginia Civic Engagement Table (of which we’re a member!) along with SEIU 512, Progress VA and many others!
Virginia need new leaders who understand the problems of working people, because they’ve faced them too. We need leaders with deep roots in the progressive community and progressive values that push to make Virginia and our world a better place.
We need more leaders who represent the diversity of Virginia’s residents, and it’s time we finally do something about that. VAPLP is dedicated to developing the next generation of leaders who will move us forward to a more progressive Virginia.
